Ha crecido sin padre y necesita ser aceptado. Porque le ha faltado esa guía paterna y porque su madre ha trabajado doble turno, el barrio se ha encargado de criarlo. Situación que Susana se empeña en negar. Al principio le dolía ser hijo de un preso, pero en algún momento empezó a alardear de ello. Sin embargo, está muy resentido con Samuel quien, al llegar, rompe sus rutinas y se mete en todo.
Lleva su corta vida negando a su padre pero realmente lo imita. Por eso pelea, es un hijo de la calle, y a ese ritmo, un delincuente en potencia.
Como aún no pierde del todo su ingenuidad, a veces dice que quiere ser boxeador como Víctor, que es su ídolo y sustituyó al padre como figura modélica.
Sueña con tener unos guantes como los de él. Cuando Samuel acepta ser el chata de Víctor empieza a darle espacio en su vida, y entre sorpresas y desilusiones que marcarán su vida, termina aceptando a Samuel.
